About Vote This Time

The main mission of Vote This Time is simple: The site provides information to nonvoters or sporadic voters in the hopes that they will register and vote. Secondarily to that, the site provides information and commentary to engaged voters.

AI and Carl Weinschenk do virtually all of the writing at the site. Weinschenk is a long-time telecommunications and IT editor/writer. He also works a couple of days in the New York City schools and has self-published a novel entitled “Surviving New America: Hope Thomas and Her Enemies.” It is the first of two volumes.

The site covers politics and the importance of civil engagement. It comments on voting and political issues.

Weinschenk edits everything AI produces. AI gathers tons of information but has nothing to do with the commentary, which Weinschenk writes. AI does the graphics.

The extensive use of AI is inevitable. The site simply wouldn’t exist without it. It’s a tremendous weapon that can’t be ignored or not used.

Weinschenk has encyclopedic knowledge of nothing. What he is sure of, however, is that the United States is at a turning point. He believes that the more people who are involved the greater the chances that the path forward will be one of grace and dignity.
