The first thing to remember is that there are rules. Voting is far more advanced and well run than it was decades ago. It no longer has to be like this. That doesn’t mean, however, that people don’t try to play games. There are laws and scores of people dedicated to making sure your voice is heard. It’s up to us to hold up our end.
